This book tells about animals you've never seen before. This book tells about the imaginary animals in the Arctic and in France. And you could think they would be real, but they are not real. Gerald McGrew thought that if he changed the zoo, it would be great for him, and that everybody else would like it better than a normal zoo. I wouldn't want to go to a zoo like The New McGrew Zoo because the zoo wouldn't feel right. It would be so wierd to see the different animals there! I'd rather just see a real lion. It was still fun to read and I liked the rhyming!
